“Fire moon” because she is red ( the moon is female in French). Her reflections are appearing in the waves of the water which are also circular. The title always come after the execution of the work. I first created a red moon but it didn’t want to remain full. A white moon came to mind and then hand. I didn’t understand why much. Only that the red one didn’t want to remain alone. It is a feeling. it just says that. Because it is red, i called it a “fire” one. Then I checked to see what a fire moon is and the explanation is that it is the one that appears when there is an eclipse. (…) so the two moons made sense but weren’t intentional from the beginning. They naturally came one after the other. One learns as one paints what is already there, manifests itself and makes its meaning known to the uninformed such as me. These are the rich and humble moments one lives for.
